Postal Votes

You are entitled to have a postal vote if you wish.  You are not required to give any reason why you should have one.  If you cannot or do not want to go to a polling station or would simply find it more convenient then a postal vote may be best for you.

Proxy Votes

If you wish someone to vote on your behalf then you must assign your proxy vote to them.  You must give a reason why you want to have a proxy vote.

There are strict time limits for applying for a postal or proxy vote before an election.  You should always be sure to apply in good time whenever possible.  People unexpectedly needing a postal or proxy vote can usually obtain one up to about a week before an election.

BROMSGROVE CONSTITUENCY voters should go to the Bromsgrove District Council website and follow the links to the postal and proxy voting pages where you will be able to download and print an application form in Acrobat Acrobat PDF format which you must complete, sign and return to the council offices in good time.
